“Carnatic music is often considered difficult for its elaborateness and intricacies. It demands years of sadhana to become a performer. That’s a good reason for anyone to learn and practice Carnatic music, for it truly makes one aware of their capabilities. As more and more forms of music, mostly fused travel the world, Carnatic music, in its purest form should be a major part of it, I believe. I am embarking on this new journey to help aspiring Carnatic music students to progress in their pursuit by using the tools of technique, practice and creativity. These periodic classes will throw light on the nuances of the Carnatic music system and I wish to use the expertise I’ve gathered over my experience in over 30 years in this field to perfect and promote the art that I’ve loved and practiced.”
